Maximilian Hochmair

Dr. Maximilian Hochmair is head of the pneumo-oncology outpatient clinic and day clinic in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pneumology at Klinik Floridsdorf (Vienna Healthcare Group) in Vienna, Austria. His research centers on targeted therapy and immunotherapy in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer, with particular focus on EGFR, RET, MET, KRAS and HER2 driver mutations and real-world treatment outcomes. He is affiliated with the Karl Landsteiner Institute of Lung Research and Pulmonary Oncology, co-leads the LALUCA real-world lung cancer registry, and has authored numerous trial and biomarker publications in journals including NEJM and the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
