Giannis Mountzios

Prof. Giannis Mountzios is Director of the 4th Department of Medical Oncology and Clinical Trials Unit at the Henry Dunant Hospital Center in Athens, Greece. A thoracic medical oncologist, he serves as principal investigator on more than 20 interventional lung cancer trials and was first author of the pivotal phase 3 tarlatamab trial in small-cell lung cancer (DeLLphi-304, NEJM 2025); his work spans immunotherapy and targeted treatment across NSCLC and SCLC. He co-edited the ESMO book on thoracic oncology and is a frequent chair and speaker at major international congresses and ESMO educational courses.
