Stephen Liu

Dr. Stephen V. Liu is Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Georgetown University, in Washington DC, where he previously served as Director of Thoracic Oncology and Head of Developmental Therapeutics. His research centers on rational drug development and novel small-molecule and immunotherapy strategies in advanced thoracic malignancies, and he leads national and international clinical trials in non-small cell and small cell lung cancer, including work on ROS1-targeted therapy. He co-hosts the IASLC official podcast Lung Cancer Considered and is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
