Antonio Passaro

Dr. Antonio Passaro is a thoracic medical oncologist in the Division of Thoracic Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. His research focuses on EGFR-mutant and oncogene-addicted non-small cell lung cancer, resistance mechanisms to targeted therapy, and antibody-drug conjugates, with involvement in trials such as TROPION-Lung05 and consensus work on EGFR-mutant NSCLC. He is an ESMO faculty member for lung and other thoracic tumours and served as a scientific committee co-chair of the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC) 2026. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
