Prof. Vanita Noronha is a Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India. Her research focuses on thoracic and lung oncology, including the genomic characterisation of lung cancer in Indian patients and precision medicine, alongside head and neck cancers and geriatric oncology. She has led practice-changing trials, notably demonstrating improved survival with gefitinib plus chemotherapy in EGFR-mutant lung cancer, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Cancer Research, Statistics and Treatment, which she co-founded. She is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
