Telma Sequeira

Dr. Telma Sequeira is a consultant pulmonologist at the Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa Francisco Gentil (IPO Lisboa) in Lisbon, Portugal. Her clinical and research work focuses on thoracic oncology and non-small cell lung cancer, alongside interventional pulmonology and sleep medicine. She also practises at Hospital CUF Tejo and is an invited assistant in medical genetics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon.

She sits on the scientific committee of the Portuguese Lung Cancer Study Group (GECP) and was the first Portuguese pulmonologist to join the IASLC lung cancer staging project. Her research spans NSCLC and immunotherapy, and she is pursuing doctoral studies at the Centro Académico de Medicina de Lisboa. She is a member of ESMO, ASCO, IASLC and the European Respiratory Society.
