Ronwyn van Eeden

Dr. Ronwyn van Eeden is a medical oncologist and director of The Medical Oncology Centre of Rosebank in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her clinical and research focus spans lung and breast cancer and immuno-oncology, including work on the prognostic value of the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in nivolumab-treated non-small-cell lung cancer. She is first author of the widely cited “Lung Cancer in South Africa” overview in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, serves as an associate editor for that journal, and holds executive roles with BIGOSA and COSOSA. She is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
