Paul Hofman

Prof. Paul Hofman is Professor of Pathology at Université Côte d’Azur and CHU Nice in Nice, France, where he heads the Laboratory of Clinical and Experimental Pathology at Pasteur Hospital. His research centers on lung cancer pathophysiology and the discovery of predictive and prognostic biomarkers in both tissue and liquid biopsies, and he directs the Nice University Biobank and the city’s Liquid Biopsy Center. He is founding director of the IHU RespirERA and the FHU OncoAge, chairs the Pulmonary Pathology Working Group of the European Society of Pathology, and co-chairs the IASLC Molecular Pathology Working Group. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
