Marius Ilié

Prof. Marius Ilié is Professor of Pathology at the Laboratory of Clinical and Experimental Pathology (LPCE), CHU Nice and Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France, where he runs the Liquid Biopsy Unit and is affiliated with the Biobank Côte d’Azur, FHU OncoAge and IHU RespirERA. His research centres on thoracic oncology, focusing on predictive and prognostic molecular biomarkers in non-small cell lung cancer, including PD-L1 immunohistochemistry, tumour mutational burden, circulating tumour cells and liquid biopsy, and the application of artificial intelligence to digital pathology. He directs the European Master in Molecular Pathology and is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology and pathology congresses.
