Hossein Borghaei

Dr. Hossein Borghaei is Chief of the Division of Thoracic Medical Oncology and the Gloria and Edmund M. Dunn Chair in Thoracic Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, United States. His research centers on immunotherapy and antibody-based and targeted therapies for non-small cell lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma. He was first author of the practice-changing CheckMate-057 nivolumab trial and an investigator on CheckMate-227, co-directs the Immune Monitoring Facility, and serves on scientific advisory and governance bodies for the American Lung Association and AACR. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
