Antonio Calles

Dr. Antonio Calles is head of the Lung Cancer Unit at Hospital Ruber Internacional in Madrid, Spain, and also affiliated with Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón. His research focuses on new therapeutic opportunities in lung cancer, including targeted therapies, mechanisms of resistance, early drug development, and in vivo models of oncogene-driven disease and immunotherapy. He is a faculty member of ESMO’s Lung and Other Thoracic Tumours group, contributes to the Spanish Lung Cancer Group (GECP), and writes and comments widely on thoracic oncology advances. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
