Lizza Hendriks

Prof. Lizza E.L. Hendriks is a full professor of personalized diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer at Maastricht University and a pulmonologist specialized in thoracic oncology at Maastricht University Medical Center+ in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on brain metastases in lung cancer, neurocognition, oligometastatic and locally advanced NSCLC and SCLC, immunotherapy and targeted therapy. She is principal investigator in numerous phase II and III trials, lead author of the ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines on metastatic NSCLC, and leads the Innovative Cancer Diagnostics Therapy group at the GROW research institute. She is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
